Crash Box Drive Plate

Hardin Marine is a leading manufacturer of many styles of drive plates, that's why we’re proud to introduce our brand new “Crash Box Style” drive plate. Specs include a 2" x 10 tooth spline pattern and a dual 12-5/8 & 9" bolt circle mounting pattern, and are rated up to 1000 lb/ft. of torque. Engineered for maximum durability, each drive plate assembly incorporates a spring-loaded geared center hub that allows four degrees of dampening movement in each direction before the gear teeth on the hub lock against those on the plate. All drive plate assemblies are designed to eliminate time consuming flywheel changes. With proper Drive Plate Assembly, testing can be done with the same flywheel and starter that will be used when the engine is installed.

High Performance Dampner Plate

Heavy Duty - Similar to the standard duty but designed to take the punishment of a high performance engine. some machine work may be required to the flywheel for rivet clearance.

Standard Duty Dampner Plate

Standard Duty - These plates contain dampner springs similar to a car clutch disc. These springs take the shock out of the shift. Not recommended for high performance applications.
