IMCO's new external hydraulic steering for the MerCruiser Bravo One has been designed, engineered and tested to eliminate side-to-side drive unit "play", a major contributor to high speed chine walking IMCO's power steering system is ultra heavy-duty throughout, utilizing a one-inch hydraulic ram rod with a double seal piston, stainless steel clevis end connections and a special cast aluminum drive end cap The system also includes a cast stainless steel mounting bracket, teflon bushings and pins, and one-half inch precision shoulder bolts IMCO steering systems are easily installed and priced more affordably than other less efficient alternatives.

IMCO 3" Higher Extension Box with Torsional Drive Line and 3" Raised Inner Transom Assembly

The torsional drive shaft helps cushion the shock to the outdrive when shifting in and out of gear, and on and off throttle operations.
